Shipping and Returns

Because of the nature of our products, The Buckeye Chocolate Company cannot offer refunds or replacements of the items purchased online in most cases. If an item is damaged during shipping, please contact us so we can submit a claim to UPS.

At extreme temperatures of 90 degrees Fahrenheit or higher we do not recommend shipping chocolate by common carrier. We can make arrangements to wait until temperatures cool down and then ship accordingly.

For temperatures above 70 degrees, we advise that a cold pack be used to ensure the safety of your merchandise. By selecting a shipping option without a cold pack, you accept full responsibility for products damaged during shipping. If a product is damaged during shipping without the recommended cold pack, we cannot offer a refund or replacement.

For temperatures between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, we will ship packages on Monday through Wednesday to prevent your order from sitting in a shipping warehouse for the duration of the weekend. Special arrangements can be made to have your item shipped on Thursday or Friday for overnight delivery.

There is a 2-3 day time period to process your order (holidays 3-5 days). Feel free to call our office for faster services and expedited shipments.

Feel free to contact our corporate offices for any questions you have about our shipping and return policies.
